Teach a course for lactation consultants
Host your CERP course here and it is listed in the Education directory, delivered to each learner, certified in your name and kept on record. You don’t need to use LactaRoute for your practice to teach here.
What hosting here does
- Certificates in your name
- Each learner who finishes gets a certificate carrying your provider name, your IBLCE recognition number, the CERPs by discipline, your signer’s name, and a code anyone can check at lactaroute.com/education/verify.
- Records kept six years
- Enrollments, time spent in each lesson, test scores and evaluations are kept for six years, the period IBLCE asks providers to keep them, and you can download them whenever you need them.
- Payouts to your own account
- Learners pay by card. You connect a payout account once, in your studio, and each sale is paid out to it less the fees below.
- Your disclosure first
- Learners read your disclosure before the first lesson opens, and nothing inside a course advertises anything, LactaRoute included.
What it costs
Share plan. No monthly fee. LactaRoute keeps 12% of each sale that came through the directory, and nothing of sales through your own link.
Flat plan. $29 a month. No percentage on any sale, and outside listings are included.
On both plans, card processing is passed through at cost on every paid sale (2.9% + 30¢). Free courses cost nothing to host.
One $40 sale, worked through
Share plan, sold through the directory

The Flat plan’s $29 costs less than the Share plan’s 12% once your directory sales pass $241.67 a month. Below that, Share costs less. You can change plans in your studio.
A course hosted elsewhere
If your course runs on another platform, you can list it in the directory and it links out to your page there. A listing is $9 a month per course, included on the Flat plan.
A listed course’s learners, certificates and records stay on the other platform. Hosted here, they stay with you in your studio, and on the Share plan a course costs nothing until it sells.
What stays with you
IBLCE recognises providers and their courses. These duties are yours as the provider; here is how the course page and the course player handle each one.
- 1You apply to IBLCE for each course’s CERPs as the provider. LactaRoute grants no CERPs and holds no IBLCE recognition; each course’s recognition is yours.
- 2While your application is with IBLCE, the course page says only that an application has been submitted, with no number of CERPs, as IBLCE requires.
- 3Once IBLCE recognises the course, you enter the number and dates. The page then shows the CERPs by discipline, with IBLCE’s disclaimer in your name.
- 4On the recognition’s end date the CERPs stop showing, until you enter the renewed recognition.
- 5Commercial support and conflicts of interest go in your disclosure. IBLCE holds you to its commercial-influence policy; the course player shows no marketing so that you can meet it.
